has anyone coming from the U.S been grilled recently crossing?

CBPO here, can’t speak for everyone but there is a lot of new officers, we deal with a lot of I’ll be PC and say “special” people daily and it could of been dealing with a hostile person or 2 before you. Nothing has come from the administration to be more “strict” or anything we literally doing our jobs the same as we did them before 01/20 except maybe some policy changes which have nothing to do with primary interactions. I also don’t believe it has to do with your skin color bc we deal with everyone all day (well busy ports do) I will say unfortunately there’s bias and/or racist people in all jobs in this world so I’d hate for that to be it. Now maybe you did look nervous maybe your story was or seemed odd maybe your crossings raised that officers flags a litter, it could be anything. We also will do random things like check trunks for X amount of time or check certain brands bc of theft and so forth.

I'm sorry for not clarifying. Yes I am an american citizen and this has only been happening upon my return to US Soil. CBSA has been good thus far. Though they have had questioning stepped up a notch and looking in the back seat more, it's not on the tactical level when returning home
