It Looks so nasty that's definetly concerning. Talk to your dermatologist about this condition. Maybe it can't even grow Back because the skin area is to mutch destroyed.

My first alopecia spot occured in the same spot about twice that size. It persisted for over a year before going into remission. Three years later, I still get a spot every few months somewhere random, but only about coin sized— manageable!

Sorry for the late response, but thank you so much for your reply. I’ve also heard of others people that relapse while others don’t; I guess it’s just a matter of luck.

Give it time. You'll likely need some rounds of injections, and it takes time to really show results. It's good that you go to a dermatologist. I know it sucks to have AA, especially at such a young age, but most people who get treatment get regrowth, and if you're lucky you won't have to deal with AA again in your life.
