[TOTK]Great Plateau quest bugged?

The A Call From the Depths Side Adventure on the Great Plateau does not seem to be working. I threw all four eyes into the chasms, however the eye in Great Plateau South Chasm seems to have completely disappeared, I cannot find it down there at all.
