I have an absolute disdain for sieges.
I had Just captured last 2 dwarven colonies, the capital and small colony right next to Kislev borders. I next turn and low and behold 3 full stacks of Wissenland, incluidng Elspeth pushed through.
My main Army took heavy casualties from the capital siege, the settlement garrison was in shambles and my supporting army had a hobgobbo crapstack. I sacrificied like 2000 labourers to fully upgrade the garrison building and prayed for the best.
I was able to nuke most of the enemy army before reinforements came. Thank Hashut all reinforcements came from the same direction as it made defending much easier. Gorduz sniped most fleeing heroes and lords before running away himself. Elspeth had a death wish cause she decided to attack the Magma cannons alone, getting herself killed. Tyhe came the slog of running at outriders until army loss came into play.
Blunderbusses held the line with constructed walls so well, and If it wasn't for my starting taur'ruk hero I killing everything in his path while surviving at 30 hp, we would've gotten all killed.
Even if I'm quite proud of achieving victory here, damn if it's not the most frustrating thing in this game.
