Three year old not speaking.

Does anyone have any positive stories of children grasping the language skill at or after 3? No diagnosis as of yet, makes great eye contact, very affectionate, social butterfly baby who doesn’t want to talk. We do see developmental pediatrics soon but not sure how or where that will go.
