Mods of r/surat
Since questioning the r/surat mods is hot right now. I will strike the hammer. What exactly is your moderation rubric? Because from what it looks like, you’re just removing comments and or posts that don’t align with your own ideology rather than actually moderating. That’s censorship, not moderation.
Can you tell us straight up what the rules are? Or is it just whatever you personally don’t like? Everyone knows Reddit is toxic—no one’s denying that. But people still use it because they want to, not because mods get to play morality police.
I’ve seen people straight up swearing in the comments, and guess what? Mods jump in to remove it. Since when is swearing a reason to moderate? There’s a huge difference between hate speech and someone just being an A-hole. Stop blurring the lines to control the conversation.
Let’s see how long until you lock this post or take this post down. Or delete comments from this post.
