Biome Concept: Cloud Forest (Full Info.)
Depth: The Cloud Forest biome is 1,155 meters deep.
Landscape: This biome is relatively flat compared to the majority of biomes on 4546b. One of the only biomes thats flatter than this one is the Diamond Plaza, a biome full of diamond.
Cloud Trees: The Cloud Forest is dominated by the Cloud Tree. There are very, very few other types of plants in the biome. The cloud tree is a plant that consists entirely of membrane with a tree top that is comparable to a cloud in a sense that if you touch it you probably wouldn't feel it since its density is so low. Cloud Trees can reach sizes of up to 70 meters, but there's a chance that they continue to grow past the 70 meter threshold. These ancient cloud trees can be up to 277 meters tall and be up to a million years old. The biome is also dominated by cloud vines; long, strip-like plants that hang from the cloud trees and grow from the seafloor.
Fauna: The cloud forest is dominated by small and large fauna; the leviathan population is very low in this biome. There is one ribbon worm leviathan (152.4m) and one spine eel leviathan (288m). Large fauna include the ghostray and navyray.
