Times when network interference ruined a sitcom

What sitcom do you think may have lasted longer had it not been for the network interfering in some way? (Changing time slots to a bad time slot, not letting creators do the show they wanted etc...). For me the best example is when the new President of NBC chose to not really make a decent effort to renew Steve Carrell's contract on The Office. Upon rewatches, Robert California wasn't a bad character, but seasons 8 and especially 9 just weren't the same without Carrell.
