Seeking advice from others with service-based businesses.

I'm 41 years old and launched a service-based business last March. I've always worked two jobs, but I decided I needed a change to better support my family. I was (and still am) tired of working so hard and still being broke. I work full-time on midnight shifts and run my business during the day. My business involves poop-scooping yards for a monthly fee, primarily serving middle-aged, busy professionals. While it’s not a traditional business, many have found success in this niche.

So far, I've been moderately successful, earning more than I did from my previous part-time day job. However, during these winter months, I've experienced a slump, prompting me to reflect on my decision both positively and negatively. I’m not handy and don’t know much about software, so I thought this niche would be a good fit with the right marketing.

I’m curious if other service-based entrepreneurs here have faced a “seasonal slump” and how you overcame it. Additionally, did you reconsider your business choice and transition to something else? If so, what did you switch to, and how has it worked out for you?
