I blacked out and purchased everything I thought I would like because of FOMO. Here are my thoughts as a first time user of most Rhode products.
Skincare: 10/10. Would recommended and will recommend every single time. Milk glaze is chefs kiss. Ultimately, I wish I could take a bath in barrier butter.
Peptide lip treatments: Salted carmel is the GOAT. Its exactly like it say it is. Sweet and unique. The vanilla smells like a cheap vanilla candle you would find on a dusty dim lit shelf in a small town homegoods.
Peptide lip tints: MEH. I feel like you could really save your money here. The “tint” wears off in minutes. Nothing special. I really like my lip glosses and balms to be scented (maybe thats just me) so it’s strange when it’s not.
The liners: Useless. Don’t come for me. I have so many liners that work so much better. There’s no lasting power, it looks like you melted on a crayon unless you really put in the work to blend. The silicone piece on the back didn’t do much for me but I liked where she was going with it. I wouldn’t purchase these again. Most of the shades looked extremely similar to me on? The amount of product for the price and performance just can’t be justified.
The blushes: Toasted teddy is CUTE. Freckle has been done before. Nothing special. I do like the little take-along sized packaging.
The mirror: I honestly have no idea why I purchased this. I think I was scared if I didn’t I would regret it. It’s cute. I’m sure it will end up in my 9 year olds room.
With all that said. The only combo I could really jibe with was raspberry jelly + lean and toasted teddy blush (shown in picture #2)
Twist was my favorite shade of liner on its own overall.
And y’all will definitely cash me outside with my salted caramel lippy and glowy af skin.
