The Singer from hot mulligan sounds like matthew lillard

Idk his name but i was listening to the 2018 album pilot by hot mulligan, on the 2nd track titled "All You Wanted By Michelle Branch” I noticed the singer sounded a bit like american actor matthew lillard known for scream, scooby doo and slc punk, which all start with an s, that has nothing to do with what i was saying just thought it was a lil weird how all 3 movies start with s, and also the characters he plays in those films also start with s, Stu, Shaggy and Stevo, Never noticed that before
