can i wear anything in a helix piercing

can i wear just a normal earring in a healed helix / cartilage ear piercing?

like this girl i saw on tik tok got her mid helix earring from evry jewels and it is just a normal stud earring she put in there but is that what you’re supposed to do because i usually see earrings made specifically for helix?
