Part upgrades got out of hand
As title states, got a bit out of hand with my pc. First I bought old second hand setup. It had following: Mobo: Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 CPU: i7 3770k GPU: GTX 770 RAM: 2x8Gb
Then quickly wanted to upgrade my GPU so got GTX 1660ti,but even before I got that from mail I had ordered the following: Mobo: Asus TUF gaming B650 Plus CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X GPU: AMD RX 7900 GRE RAM: 2x16Gb
With this of course had to upgrade psu and hard drives. Got 1Tb NMVe for os and 4TB NMVe for games.
I thought that this would be it, but alas, I was wrong. Soon I upgraded GPU to Asus TUF-Gaming RTX 4080 Super.
Surely this would be it? Nah, someone had Ryzen 7 7800x3d for 400€ so I got that.
So, what started as 150€ second hand pc to play older games ended up being close to 2500€ high end gaming rig 🫣
Does this happen to others as well? Surely I'm not the only one?
