People who live in townhouses, can you heard your neighbors ?

Currently living in a condo where we hear EVERYTHING happening with our neighbors (from the next door guy having an orgasm to the upstairs one taking a sh** and flushing the toilet), was wondering if townhouses are better?

Edit: can you please precise which builder for your townhouse. I see a pattern here…
