Critics Choice left us with more questions than answers, and I love to see it.
I love an unpredictable award season. I know a lot of people don’t like Critics Choice (I don’t have strong feelings about them either way), but it is the last big event before final Oscar voting starts on Tuesday. All of the stars were there, the Academy is watching. It seems like every category is up for grabs. Well, maybe except for the actor races, which is what people seem to care most about. I thought they were fun. Some good surprises, and bad surprises, some confusing moments. I think if Anora does decent at BAFTA next week, it may be the new frontrunner for Best Picture. Madison may be able to pull a Colman-style upset if it does very well. If Conclave wins, who tf knows what’s gonna happen, so I want Conclave to win - maximum chaos.
