Will Norethindrone pills shift period moving forward?

It is early January, and I realized my period is expected to come the day before my wedding in May.

I am not on birth control. But I have looked into taking norethindrone pills.

Ideally what I'd like to do is take those pills for 2 weeks before my period comes in February, if that will shift my period 2 weeks moving forward. Then I don't have to deal with any side effects by taking them around my wedding day.

Can someone confirm or explain if that will work? Instead of shifting my period the week of the wedding, can I just shift it a few months in advance? Or will my period schedule go back to how it was/be all messed up for the next few months??
