Pokémon Shield Nuzlocke Diary #1 (Begin-Motostoke)

The adventure has now begun and, as always, it is played with the female protagonist, because the female ones somehow always look better (imo). Anyway, the starter choice was easy for Grookey! I mean, if you've seen the anime you know it's the real deal! I initially wanted to name him Kongo Bongo after the boss from Zelda Ocarina of Time, but the name is forbidden, so I called him Funky Kong. On the first route there was also a blipbug, which... well, was caught. His name is Ness, but I'm not hyped about him. On Route 2, however, came Lotad, named D. Queen (German Name from Miror B. From Pokémon XD). I then continued towards the Wild Area, as I wanted to keep the Slumbering Weald free. But before that, the gift at the train station came thanks to my Let's Go Pikachu save and that's why there's now a Pikachu in the party, named after Reina from Tekken 8. The Wild Area was... difficult. First of all, I couldn't catch a Snorunt and Budew was defeated with a crit. Nevertheless, I was able to catch a Pidove and another Snorunt, which were named after Teba from Zelda Breath of the Wild and Eula from Genshin Impact. At the very beginning there was a Bunnelby, which was named Peppy Hare from the Starfox series.
