Boomerang/Bouncing spell lifetimes?
So on the guide for the infinite spells on the wiki it lists a number of modifiers that add frames to spells. Then below that they have a couple of other ones for boomerang and bouncing spells: "Boomerang Spells adds 20 frames per projectile in the cast state. (i.e. simultaneously casting 3 projectiles grants +60 lifetime) Bouncing Spells adds 60 frames per projectile in the cast state." Which if I'm understanding correctly would mean casting a boomerang modified triplicate bolt would add a total of 60 frames to each of the projectiles making them all last 1 extra second.
But when I do bouncing -> triple spell -> x3 triplicate bolt I thought I would be making 9 projectiles with 540 extra frames each but I'm not really noticing a difference compared to just bouncing > triplicate bolt. Now it could be that I've just taken too many dings to ole chronometer and it's all happening so fast that I can't really tell the difference. But maybe there is something I'm missing here? What is the "cast state"? Is it the same as a casting block in the wand building guide? These pellets hit the ground pretty fast and aren't quite as bouncy as the modifier would have you believe so does hitting the ground multiple times in quick succession (they seem to just vibrate on the ground before disappearing) end the spell early as a property of the bounce effect?
My goal is to make some music notes last as long as possible if that matters at all, though it's hard to test with those because of the visuals.
