Did they change the parka liner material?

I gave away my old parka liners a while ago and just picked up a new one.

First, re-introduction of front pockets is a welcome change. However, I noticed that the material has become thinner. I remember fabric of my old coyote brown & black parka liners being a lot more fleece-y, if that makes sense. Now, the new material feels like that of a normal hoodie.

Am I mis-remembering? I’m on TDY so I don’t have anyone to compare with atm. Just wanted to see if I was going crazy or not 😂

PS: charging almost $110 for this fleece is insane!! Army / Air Force version is much warmer & better designed for a lower price…
