How aggressively does Hasbro protect their IP?
Hello everypony! I have a question. I've been doing my best to find any example where Hasbro has cease and desisted anything that looks too much like my little pony but does not infringe on any character trademarks. I'm trying to do a good risk assessment for a project based on Hasbro's history of cease and desists. The only three I have found have been Fighting is Magic, WhiteDove, and LunarShine, all of which infringed on characters from the show. So far what I am seeing is Hasbro does not overextend their cease and desists but limits it to instances that risk voiding of their IP. Does anypony know anything more about this? I really want to be making informed decisions
