I was searching through ROKU last night for something to watch and came across this for the first time. Written/directed/starred in by Billy Bob Thornton, Robert Duvall, Kevin Bacon, Ron White and some other familiars.

It was a good blend of historical, comedy, drama with lots of great character development of an eccentric family.
