Is this S&W 1905 a milsurp?
I have what I believe is a 4th change S&W 1905 in .38 special, it is in the 909xxx serial range and is blues. The only things that make me believe it may be milsurp is it has a hole for a lanyard loop and "NAA 35" stamped on the back of the grip frame. Which I believe stands for North American Aviation, a WW2 contractor, but I can't find anything about them making pistols.
Has anybody seen one like this? Do you think milsurp or maybe just a gun for a guard at NAA?
