Thought I had really bad cellulite my whole life, now realizing it could be Lipedema

I’m a petite woman who has a bigger butt and thighs than most people my size. After being malnourished growing up due to my body not absorbing nutrients, my lower half ballooned up once I hit puberty. I had such bad “cellulite” for someone my size and avoided wearing shorts from ages 13-30. One boy in high school had the audacity to make a comment about it that I’m still scarred. Something came up on my feed recently and it shook me to my core. The symptoms I had always experienced matched up too well. I’m now looking to go see a specialist, who I hope can help me find relief. I’ve been working out and eating right for over a year with no improvement in definition or reduction in appearance. My symptoms are listed below: Legs that bruise easily Heaviness and tender to the touch Swelling

I also have a couple of autoimmune diseases and was told my pain is from fibromyalgia. Even though I know fibromyalgia is an umbrella term for when they don’t know what’s happening. Has anyone with Stage 1 found things that have helped them? Adding pic so post doesn’t get lost.
