Favorite animal?

Every person has a favorite animal, often popular animals/common pets (dogs, cats, elephants etc.) but I’m seeing a interesting trend where almost all of the queer people I know have a strong attachment to “odd” or “weird” animals (like possums, snakes or frogs)

I’ve heard a theory that queer people identify with animals that are often misunderstood or are villainized.
