Is split attraction real?
I wanted to ask this amongst people who have sense (iykyk) but I've met a few people now in the LGB community who are against the topic of split attraction.
I could absolutely be missing out on a point of harm or redundancy, but I've been surprised by this as I accepted it as real. Just to make sure we're all on the same page, this is what I accepted as split attraction:
- Asexual aromantic = acearo
- Asexual homoromantic = lesbian
- Asexual biromantic = bi
- Asexual heteroromantic = straight
- Homosexual aromantic = lesbian
- Homosexual homoromantic = standard lesbian
- Homosexual biromantic = bi
- Homosexual heteroromantic = bi
- Bisexual aromantic = bi
- Bisexual homoromantic = bi
- Bisexual biromantic = standard bi
- Bisexual heteroromanric = bi
- Heterosexual aromantic = straight
- Heterosexual homoromantic = bi
- Heterosexual biromantic = bi
- Heterosexual heteroromantic = standard straight
Irl idk if homosexual heteroromantics and heterosexual homoromantics exist but overall they're both bi.
Is there a fatal flaw in this thinking or a reason to not accept it? Is it harmful to lesbians? Thank you
