Get real with me, do I have a chance?

24 year old, Canadian university student, studying economics, I’m doing really well in my last year compared to all the others. (that being said, I have taken only 12 economics courses as I changed my major, so I’ve only been doing Econ classes for a full year, compromised of 3rd and 4th year classes)

Yes I have failed classes in my earlier years (I was a science major)

I plan to study my butt off for the LSAT.

I have an opportunity to intern a firm in downtown specializing in real estate transactions.

I can get amazing letters of recommendations, as I’ve maintained good relationships with many of my professors.

The 2 year gap I had in my studies I worked at a mortgage loan company, and then changed my major to economics, and came right back to university.

I am apart of our schools law club, debate club, model UN, volunteer club (for volunteer opportunities).

Tbh, idk what I’m trying to say here but I’m wanting to get into a school in the states, preferably somewhere the climate is warm and settle there indefinitely. I do care about the type of school I go to, not expecting a top 14 admission or anything but something reasonable, I’ve worked my butt off an saved a good chunk of change and I have the support of my amazing parents.

What do y’all think?

The school I wanna go to is university of Florida or universe of Miami, as I’ve visited the states often when I was younger and I feel like Florida is where I need to be 😅
