Thinking about pulling my child from kindergarten? Not what I expected.

I really wanted to believe in the community and give my daughter a chance of all the opportunities of my top rated local public school. I’ve only heard rave reviews about it. My daughter (6) has been to pre k since 2 years old and loves school and is very social. Starting in November another kid at school started calling her explicit names daily. I addressed this with her teacher and principal. They said the problem is resolved. Problem never stops. A few weeks later constant physical problems hitting kicking pulling hair. I again contact them they tell me they will separate the children and keep that from occurring and that consequences have been made. Now I get a call that my daughter is being hit and kicked in PE class does not even ask for help another child tells the teacher. They look up camera footage. Suspend the child and think all is solved. I don’t feel it’s solved. My daughter does not want to attend school anymore. The faculty believe because she doesn’t have bruises or cuts it did not hurt my child and they think the other child was being flirtatious????? “Sometimes boys do weird things when they like girls’ I did ask the principal to email me this because I was in straight disbelief however they never answer any email and if they do they only phone call. I don’t know if this school is the normal for southern USA public schools? Because I’m being told I can move my daughter from her class but they will not move the bully. They also give me the warning there are worse behavioral problem children in the other classes and that they are close friends with the superintendent so do not bother. They tell me I’m blowing it out of proportion because my child holds it together at school and doesn’t act distraught until she feels comfortable at home. Has anyone else had this experience? Am I over reacting?
