Is this normal?

My BoP is roughly 6 years old. This is its first bloom. The flowers keep coming out of the same bud, it's been flowering for just shy of 2 months. Just surprised it has so many flowers in there. The bud is still rock solid, and feel like there may be several more.

More curious than concerned if this is normal
