I lowkey dislike AP students
I want to start off by saying I’m not generalizing ALL AP kids. My experiences are not universal but I’m sure people can relate
I’m a highschooler who’s taking 3 AP classes. I’m with people who overloaded themselves with 6-8 APs per year and they are the most annoying people I have ever met.
-The only thing they ever talk about is AP classes. It’s like they have no life outside of school.
-They are so competitive and always begging to see other people’s grades
-Nothing is ever enough for them. I had a girl look gloomy and her friend asked why, she replied “I only got a 95%.”
-Their favorite buzzword is the word “cooked.” These kids will take a test and immediately say “Yo I am so cooked” only to get a fucking 97.
-They have massive egos and love to tell you how hard their other AP classes are and how they think they’re gonna fail in life and get into a bad college even though they have a 4.8 GPA and a godly college application. They think they’re either genuinely not good enough or they just want their egos to inflate. These kids either take AP classes and get an ego boost or will have such an unrealistic view of themselves.
-They have zero accountability and will blame everything on the teacher because they didn’t get a 100. They’re always complain to you about that one FRQ question because it wasn’t “worded correctly.”
I genuinely cannot stand these people and I find myself more happy with people who don’t take all APs. That’s the downside of taking AP classes, you deal with insufferable idiots like them.
