Alfredo Gonzales is one of the greatest characters Morikawa has ever written. The way his character and boxing slowly evolved throughout his fight with Ippo was amazing to read.

Still not the biggest fan of his fight with Sendo but man Alf is by far my favorite character in the entire manga. No tricks, no OP gimmick, no special move, no insane durability, punching power or stamina.

Besides his tendency to brawl my GOAT was just a high level boxer and I loved it🥹💪🏾
