Changing Jobs

My company is currently filing my EB3 Visa, but we’re waiting on my priority date to become current. My priority date is June 2024. About this time next year, I would have my masters degree and plan to change jobs so I can utilize said masters degree. I’m guessing that will make me EB2. But does that mean I’ll have to apply again and get a new priority date, or can my application be transferred and/or modified?
