Rescuing supermarket mint?
Hello 🌱
So l bought some seeds which never came to fruition so l decided to rescue some potted supermarket mint.
I have: 1. Repotted it and split out the root ball so the little baby plants in there aren't as squished 2. Got rid of a lot of the soil from the root ball and gave it some fresh soil. 3. Waiting a week to then give it some water and some herb food. 4. Pruned it back (probably a bit too much) so that it would grow more outwards rather than upwards. 5. Put it by an east facing window in a fairly cold kitchen (only a bit cold for now, I'm in the south of the UK in early spring)
I've also got this little grow light that I've put on a cold light setting, which apparently encourages more sturdy growth rather than a full spectrum or warm light. 💡
My question is, is this grow light okay where it is?
I've never really used them before and the internet has a million opinions on where they should be positioned! It's only a little USB-powered one off Amazon.
