Amouage Essences and Kayali Silk Santal Blind Buys

This week was an expensive lesson in blind buying. I purchased the three fragrances I listed below. I’ve only blind bought one other time and that was for Cirque du Soleil. I did the impulse buy for Amouage due to it being special batches. Outlands has already sold out. I’m actually more fond of Lustre. But as Outlands settles down the woodiness calms down and it’s more pleasant. However they both are still a bit more woody than I’d like.

Silk Santal is beautiful. I don’t own any Kayali because I hadn’t smelled anything that blew me away but I do like this one. However, I have a fragrance from Amir Oud in Dallas that smells exactly like this one so I didn’t really need it.

Has anyone tried any of the new Amouage Essence fragrances? If so what did you think?
