Why do you like about this series?

Just for discussion. What personally made you enjoy this series?

Was it the dragons? The romance? Something else?

Many saw it as a gateway from ACOTAR.

Some felt it revived their love of reading again (interesting considering many stopped reading at the end of the dystopian crave, especially Divergent)

Is there another reason? This series seems to be popular with a very particular demographic so I'm interested in analyzing this further.
