Anyone know what Matthew Grunwald is doing now?

So for those that don't know the story on this guy: Matthew was a competitor on season 11 of Next Food Network star but was very rude, arrogant, and smug. In fact he was so abrasive that in the middle of giada and bobby sending someone else home he started grinning and giada stops and says "Wait, Im changing my answer he's grinning" and kicks him off.

Then in season 12 of Next Food Network Star the pre-season competition called Comeback Kitchen, where former NFNS finalists compete for a spot in the show again, Matthew competed but ultimately lost.

Now we arrive at season 13 of Next Food Network Star and he competes and wins Comeback Kitchen 2 and joins the others during the first episode as a surprise reveal. Now by this point he has totally matured and sounded just like anyone else he was respectful showed empathy and a positive attitude and was still great at cooking and I actually found him likeable and interesting. He makes it all the way to the final 4 but ultimately is the one person turned away from making a pilot. He had technically competed more times in that show than anyone else and they picked someone else who totally bombed his presentation and food. Three years of his life he was fighting for it and growing only to be turned down from even getting the chance. He pretty much broke down crying in his post interview and I really think it was a miss on FN's part.

So what I want to know is what happened to this guy did he end up branching out into youtube videos or open a restaurant? Hoping someone on here might be able to find the answers.

Last thread about this gentleman was over 5 years ago so I think it's fair game to post this.
