Questions about Tyre

So me and my dad were discussing Tyre and how the Bible talked about it never being rebuilt again. My dad argued that it wasn’t meant to be taken literally and what the prophecy really meant was that it will never be rebuilt in the same glory and size. I brought up Babylon and he said the same thing about it. What can I answer back with?
