Difference of Third Wave Water?

Has anyone noticed a significant difference with Third Wave Water? If so, what difference did it make? Less acidic, more flavor, etc.

I just got a free box of their classic profile. I've been using large gallon jugs of purified drinking water, but I thought I would give it a go. So I bought some large gallons of distilled water and added the packet to each one. I shook the jugs and let them sit overnight.

I decided to taste test this morning. I pulled a shot with the purified water I normally use, then immediately emptied my tank, cleaned it, and added the Third Wave Water. I purged about 2 cups of water out of the boiler, and pulled a shot with the new water about 10-15 minutes after the first. I waited for it to cool down and tasted them both. Granted, the 2nd shot ran about 2 seconds quicker, but I tasted no difference whatsoever. I don't have the most refined pallet, but I do work at a cafe and able to discern between acidic, bitter, roasts, etc.

To me, it doesn't seem worth the price and hassle. I know they have an "Espresso Profile" package, and I'm sure in general it keeps the machines cleaner, but it still doesn't seem worth it.
