Do Singaporeans really consider 80mph in a car as fast?

Disclaimer: throwaway account since I'm an Uber driver and don't want to be traced haha

I was transporting some Singaporean tourists here in La yesterday and going 80mph (130kmh) in a 65mph (105kmh) freeway just to keep up with the traffic

They were saying how they found it so fast that I was driving at 80mph and that apparently in Singapore people drive a lot slower on freeways?

But is this actually true?

I've been to a bunch of European countries like France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal etc and I've easily seen people going 100mph+ (160kmh)+ in those countries, so I actually think we drive pretty slow in the US compared to Europe at least
