Did I waste my shards?

So just got back to playing recently and realized I had some shards. Since I primarily enjoy playing Killer more than Survivor, I decided to look at the roster and decided to buy these two killers. I'm not new to the game so I know that one of them is hated or no one gives a damn about but the other one I'm not familiar with and got intrigued because of her design and ther other fact that she's a female character with is a plus for me. Just wanna if i made a mistake buying these two and if not what are some tips or advice for me hehe
