Oakwood HS LGBTQ/ new kid

We are considering a move to Dayton for work. We actually lived in Centerville many years ago pre kids so we know the area and always thought we would move to Oakwood if we returned. However, we have a kid that will be a 9th grader and is gay and we are concerned that OHS would not be a good fit. Does anyone have personal experience on how welcoming students and staff are to new students? To the LGBTQ community? I did not see any mention of GSA or the like on the school website. We would also consider sending him to the Miami Valley School but that sort of defeats the purpose of moving to a community and going to the local school.
