When is enough not enough...?
...when every morning ends up outside the store at 7 a.m. waiting for them to open in driving rain and gale force winds, because you ran out again. You buy another bottle, the shop owner doesn't blink an eye, you're an expected customer at this hour.
THIS one will surely last a while, you tell yourself, as you unscrew the top outside to take a good ole swig.
Start walking home and already doubts are setting in on how long this bottle will last, it just doesn't seem enough. Should I turn around now and get another, just in case?
No, it's fine cause today I'll taper and I won't drink it all, I'll be good and dilute it with sparkling juices and sip on it all day.
Already shitfaced by the time you get in and have a little nap, only to realise on awakening that a third is already gone. WTF.
But that's alright, you can space it out surely. Keep busy with daily chores. Need to get some work done.
The mind frets at the ever diminishing level in the bottle. By evening it seems a good idea to just glug the rest to get a bit of an impact, so you can rest.
Wake up at 2 a.m. and realise there's nothing left. That damn bottle is empty and joins the others in the pile in the cupboard.
Now what? Can't sleep, starting to sweat and shake. Guess I'll just sit here, post on reddit until the magical store opening hour...I only have to wait til 7 a.m and staring out the window it looks like it's not even raining...
