Anyone else just having a blast with the anniversary servers?
I know it’s the general nature of MMOs but 95% of what I see on here is negative. The other 5% is people showing off their rare drops.
Ive played WoW on and off since its launch. I fell off somewhere around MoP but came back for Classic and I loved it. And now I’m back again.
I have a level 43 Rogue that is my main and I have been having a nostalgia-riddled blast the past few weeks.
I found a friendly leveling guild that constantly helps each other out. There’s no drama, no assholes, just people working together.
Whenever I’m out questing (most of the time) everyone I’ve randomly teamed with has been awesome. Willing to stay and help you complete, super appreciative, provide buffs/mage food etc. I’ve added multiple friends just from a simple 10 minute quest.
When I run dungeons, everyone is chill. No arguing about drops or rolls, no bitching about heals or aggro, no bickering about pace of pulls, etc.
Now, I understand things get a little more contentious once I get to the end game content but even still, I’ve found that the majority of people in this game are normal adults that can behave respectfully. Maybe it’s just because I don’t play on a PvP server but I almost never encounter the fabled “sweaty behavior” that people always bitch about.
Honestly, just be nice to people and they’ll likely return the favor. If they’re rude or whatever, block them and move on. Pretty simple.
Anyways, tl;dr - this game rocks and the majority of the players are friendly. Just don’t be a dick.
