How do I fix my LFG tool?

It stops working as soon as I list myself. It will load forever showing "Searching..."
When I do a /reload it works again but it's annoying having to reload my game everytime I need to adjust the note. I remember having this exact same issue on some other version of WoW that had a similar LFG tool.
