Being bitched at on FB over telling someone it’s discomforting to post their stillborn child
For context: I asked someone to remove a post from a neighborhood chatter group of over 45,000 people.
Why? Because it makes me uncomfortable and I’m sure I’m not the only one in a group of that scale to see a photo of a stillborn child.
I have tons of mothers pissed at me telling me about how I need to be compassionate and so are the parents of the child… because the world isn’t “about me”…
It’s not about if the world is about me… it’s about posting something graphic like that for thousands of people to see on a neighborhood chatter group.. to expect people to not potentially feel uncomfortable by the exposure of that or the ability to think if anyone else even lost their kid.
I wish we could go back to people not posting their every moment for thousands and millions to see online.
