Are Star Kraken summoned from psychic glimmer different than normal ones? Also, what's up with all the dromad traders?

I have crazy high psychic glimmer and keep getting groups of hunters spawned when I explore new screens. Two questions:

1. Occasionally, some of these will be star kraken. I'm not talking about the solo, high-level, extradimensional esper stalkers (although i did just get a star kraken one of those), but just star kraken that spawn as members of a group of cult hunters. When I get a star kraken in a group like that, they don't seem to actually consume anything. Anyone else notice this? Am I right that they don't consume anything, or do I need to be extra careful since they don't have the warning indicator?

2. What's up with all the dromad traders? It feels like one of the cult hunter group members is almost always a dromad trader (plus caravan). I'm mainly just curious if anyone else has noticed this, since the wiki doesn't say much about it.
