Baetyl requests

Im at Bethesda Susa and i found a Baetyl asking for 3 staves ,another for 5 stones and this last one for 5 copies of CRIME AND PUNISHMENT. And just curious as to what these actually mean and do i have to do. Ive never done a Baetyl request btw
