Canon t6 weird aspect ratio when in 1080p using eos webcam software.

When using a brand new canon t6 with the webcam utility. It projects in an odd aspect ratio. I've tried everything. The only way i can get a 16:9 ratio is by putting the camera in 720p.

Could it just be the T6 can't do a 1080p output in 16:9?

What could be the issue?
