Breastfeeding baby at work instead of pumping?
I go back to work soon (12 wks mat leave, US). I’m currently exclusively nursing. As I was thinking of pumping and the schedule, I thought- Why can’t my husband just bring LO to me for her feed times to my workplace and I can just feed her in the car instead of pumping?
Details: -husband will be taking his parental leave when I go back to work so he will have time to bring her -my work allows moms to pump in the mothers room or in the car.
Is this something that would “go against” any policies?
From an employers POV, shouldn’t feeding my baby in the car is technically no different from me pumping in car at the parking lot?
Do you think I can just go ahead and do this without asking or should I risk getting rejected but still ask my employer for permission to do this?
