Positive nipple shield stories?

We are still going strong EBF with a nipple shield 90% of the time at 3 mo. Goal is to breastfeed for at least a year, probably more. Has anyone else used a nipple shield long term? We’ve got it down to a science by now, but remember in the hospital it being posed as more of a short term solution. Baby sometimes latches without it but my nipples are on the flatter side (especially when I’m running hot lol) I’d love to hear stories of people using the shield long term for some encouragement, its what works for us!
