I need help starting an Italy army.

Hi all, a friend and I are starting bolt action soon, and are very excited. He is going to get a French army. I would really like to play an Italian army, specifically I think it would be cool to play a more veteran Bersaglieri force.

Before I start buying models though, I’d like some help figuring out what I actually need to/should get. I understand the basic steps of list building but was just wondering if anyone had any tips on Italian units that would work well with what I’m trying to do. I like the look of the medium artillery piece and most of the support weapons, and will definitly be picking those up, but are there any specific tanks or other units I should consider for a Bersiglieri-focused army?
